Penlee House Penlee House is situated in Morrab Rd, Penzance, Cornwall and it often mounts excellent exhibitions related to artists who worked in the West Cornwall area. (Note: exhibitions and dates may be subject to change: please telephone (01736 363625) in advance if you are planning a special journey!)
Plymouth City museum and art gallery Plymouth Museum has a good collection of Newlyn Artist works in its own right, and some of these are featured in exhibitions such as the one happening in September and October 2006 at the moment.
St Ives Trust The St Ives Trust was set up in 1967 to educate the public in the geography, history, natural history and the architecture of St Ives and District. It supports an Archive Study Centre, and in addition to the topics mentioned, there are extensive files on St Ives artists which can be visited at: St Ives Archive Study Centre, Upper Parish Room, St Andrews Street, St Ives, Cornwall TR26 1AH.
The St Ives Society of Artists

The St Ives Society of Artists split off in 1927 from the St Ives Arts Group, (still in existence at Westcott's Quay), and although the Society represents present-day artists in the St Ives area of Cornwall, there is an interesting section on the website about the history of the Society, and artists who were members in the early days.

The St Ives Arts Club Has records dating back to its formation in 1890.
The Lamorna Cove Hotel The Lamorna Cove is situated on high ground above the valley, offering accomodation, lunches and evening meals - with a website that features links, and information, on the Lamorna artists, the Newlyn school, and galleries in the area.
The National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies NADFAS is the umbrella organisation for approx 330 local societies in the U.K., for example the Chester Decorative and Fine Arts Society.
The Frank Heath website Hugh Bedford, a member of the Society, has written a book - "Frank Gascoigne Heath and his Newlyn School friends at Lamorna", and he contributed to an exhibition that ran in the Summer of 2004 at Penlee House, centred around the work of Frank Heath.
The Cornish Maritime Trust Decidated to the preservation and enjoyment of Cornwall's Maritime Heritage.

the Public Catalogue Foundation An Arts Charity based at the National Gallery in London, which is involved in the cataloguing all oil paintings held in public ownership in the U.K. They are currently working on the collection of the Imperial War Museum - their 12th catalogue.
Friends of Minack To promote Derek and Jeannie Tangye's works, and their lives, by trying to keep the books alive and in print.
The Minack Chronicle Nature Trust The Minack Chronicle Nature Trust is dedicated to preserve Oliver Land as a Nature Reserve and to maintain it forever as A Place for Solitude.
Royal Cornwall Museum The Royal Cornwall Museum, in Truro, sometimes has exhibitions showing artists from the Newlyn School, and from 10th May - 12th July there is a retrospective of Henry Scott Tuke's work. (And also from the 7th June to the 12th July when some long hidden paintings are to be shown.)

Falmouth Art Gallery Falmouth Art Gallery recently held an exhibition of the work of Henry Scott Tuke, and there are interesting talks as well.
Creative Skills This organisation runs Open Studios, Cornwall - an opportunity to meet with artists and other creative people in their studios or other locations in the Cornwall area, usually in May each year.
Hayle Gallery The Hayle Gallery in Hayle, and featuring original works by St Ives and Newlyn artists.
Porthmeor Group For nearly two years the St Ives School of Painting has offered winter Friday workshops aimed specifically at nurturing personal direction in artistic work. These workshops have spawned what is now the Porthmeor Group. Their 2008 exhibition is from the 19th to the 31st October at Mariners Gallery, St Ives.

West, is to be a beneficary of monies generated from the Lamorna Arts Festival in 2009
